Summary | 0015236: Podcast updating is unnecessarily slow
Description | Some feeds (like https://feeds.megaphone.fm/slatemagazinedailypodcast ) have thousands of episodes in the RSS MediaMonkey currently parses all the feed everytime it updates the feed / checks for new episodes. This is unnecessary and should be optimized. It should be parsed as whole only when the non-default choice: [ ] Keep updating episode data by feed data (slower) is selected in Tools > Options > Podcasts

Actually I have just found that the choice '[x] Keep updating episode data by feed data (slower)' has been always the default choice in MM4 (unlike MM5 where it is disabled by default). So I changed the default to disabled also in MM4 (4.1.31.1906) |

Verified default on clean 1914 install |
