Summary	0016641: Auto-Tag: Include Disc# field
Description	If the user is tagging a disc that is part of a set (e.g. Disc2), the user would expect that: - the field should be updated (in cases where the CD is part of a set of > 1 CD) - the field should be displayable (currently the field can't be shown in the Auto-tag dialog) Also, currently Track# appears as '#' (in the Auto-tag dialog) whereas elsewhere in MM the field is referred to as 'Track #'. If we add Disc #, we might want this to appear as 'Track #'.

(I know that they are mapped but column names should reflect view) Also Column view can be automated as pointed in ~58226 as a result of resolving points 2 and 11 from 0016294:0058227 which would act as auto column pre select view columns based on last user view which initiated Auto-Tag. Also it would further make maintain of code easier.

rusty 2020-05-25 15:44 administrator ~0058261 Last edited: 2020-05-25 18:32	As mentioned by Petr, current Auto-tag sources are limited for classical music (there's no sense to including fields that are unsupported by Lookup functionality). Re. changing 'Choose Fields' to 'Choose columns / sort' Petr will have to decide between either: 1) Making the suggested change, but ensuring that the suggested sort is actually used (currently, changes to the sort order in auto-tag don't persist) 2) Leaving the wording as is, and removing the controls to set the sort order. Option 1) probably makes more sense unless it's risky (which it may be due to album grouping issues that might arise).
