Summary | 0017006: Do not read volume leveling info from Xing header
Description | MM reads volume leveling info also from Xing header, written typically by Lame encoder. It is not clear, how it is computed, and it is confusing for some users. We should probably use only leveling computed by MM and written to tags, not to this header.

Tags | No tags attached. | ||||
Fixed in build | 2271 | ||||
|
Note, that MM can write only to tags, so after recomputing leveling info the values in the header and in tags could be different. Also user cannot delete such leveling in MM, because MM cannot write to Xing header. |

Fixed in build 2271. |

Verified 2271 MM5 now ignores that header tag due the issue with incompatibility. |
