Summary | 0002687: MM doesn't read volume leveling information from Lame Info tag
Description | Lame mp3 encoder and some other tools store volume leveling in so called Lame Info tag (stored in the first frame of mp3 stream). MM currently doesn't read it and so it has to analyze volume of such tracks again.

Fixed in build 1010. - MM now reads Replay Gain value from the tag. I decided to make it read-only (at least for now), because full write operation support would require adding Info tag to tracks where it isn't present yet and this operation is non-trivial and technically problematic - MM would have to fill-in information that only encoder (Lame) knows. |

Closing as noted in 0017006:0059954 MM5 now ignores that header due the incompatibility issues. |
