Summary0003988: Possible problems on addition of Album Art to the album folder.
DescriptionI found 2 possible problems in this area:

1) If you tag from amazon and want to save AA to the album folder you cannot change the 'folder.jpg', because the box is disabled.

2) If you add AA via AA window or properties and you change the 'folder.jpg' to e.g. 'covers/front.jpg' then MM throws : "Problem with copying file...." and the cover is not properly added.
The reason is that MM doesn't checking existence of the desired 'covers' directory.
TagsNo tags attached.

Tested 1108. Item 2) is working correctly. Item 1 however, may have some problems--hoping you can advise:

Auto-tag from Web has a bit of a design issue in the sense that it gives the user a parallel set of options for tagging Artwork, to the options that are available for all other Album Art tagging operations in Tools > Options > Tags and Playlists > Album Art.

Autotag from Web AA Options:
Save to tag
Save to Album Folder
Save to common Folder
Ask

Tags and Playlists > Album Art options:
Save to tag then album (if tag isn't doable)
Save to album folder
Save to Tag and Album
[ ] Confirm

I think that the Filename for the Album Art may have been limited to folder.jpg since that is the default in Tools > Options > Tags and Playlists > Album Art. By allowing this to change, it becomes possible to have a configuration in which Auto-tag from Web saves artwork, without prompting, to a location that the user cannot intuitively change.

Another problem is that the 'Save to common folder' option still exists for Auto-tag from Web, even though this has been eliminated elsewhere in the UI.

Summary:
We might want to consider completely eliminating Album Art options that are specific to Auto-tag from web, and just use the options that are configured in Tags and Playlists > Album Art.

From a usability perspective, I don't think that this issue is 'immediate', however, there may be bugs that I've not thought of (e.g. related to saving to a common folder) that require that we do make an 'immediate' fix.

Rusty, thank you very much, I forgot to eliminate the 'Save to common folder' from Auto-Tag options although it is not presented on the 'Add album Art dialog'.
The reason is, that I had always ticked 'Ask where to save image' and therefore I did not noticed that.

i.e.
'Save to common folder' -> (replaced by) 'Save image to tag (if possible) and to album folder'.

Now, all is right and is fully consistent with
Tools > Options > Tags and Playlists > Album Art settings.

Fixed in build 1109.
