Summary | 0007450: Video: Audio Playback
Description | As noted in 0007146 point 11 when WASAPI is used in MediaMonkey Video playback DirectShow Graph Always uses Default video playback device by Windows and not selected audio output. After Additional Tests It looks that DirectShow Graph do not follow Settings of Audio output at all. No matter what output plugin is used.

Reminder sent to: jiri, rusty Video Playback is not usable in case youhave two+ SoundCards Example: You wann aplay Video on TV Using HDMI but your Windows audio is on Integrated sound card unless you force that HDMI is default for all windows Audio. Which in other hand change also all settings in all other apps like Skype. |

for triage... |

As discussed with Michal, the best solution for now seems to be to add a drop-down to f_video.dll configuration dialog, something like: Output Audio device: _Default device_____ [v] [Ok] [Cancel] |
|
Increasing priority in order to include this string for localization in 4.0, push to High/Urgent then. |
|
Strings for config. dialog added, priority decreased. |
|
Fixed in build 1352. Video plugin has config. dialog for setting output audio device, this device is used for video playback then (in both - DirectShow and Media Foundation). |
