Summary | 0000026: Support Additional Tags
Description | There are a number of tag frames that need to be considered for support: -MusicMatch, MediaJukebox, and MS MediaPlayer all support a number of tags similar to those included with Song-DB. These include rating, mood, tempo, etc. It would be worthwhile to find out if there's any commonality in how these tags are implemented, and to support these tags in Song-DB in the same way. At a minimum, we may want to be able to read these tags when they're imported so that the data can be fed into the DB. -New ID3V2 frames? -New WMA attributes? -Subgenres for Genres -r/w MCDI frames (audio CD id) for use with FreeDB -'TXXX' user defined information tags for Custom fields -pictures/album art With so much info potentially being stored in the tag, there may be a need to allow the user to configure whether certain fields are allowed to be stored in the tag or not.

Priority to normal - classifications are already supported, some others may come in the future. |

MM 3.0 should support subgenres classified by WMP. Also, need to investigate support for Mood tags from WMP. |
